Iowa Primary Care Association Advocacy

The Iowa Primary Care Association plays a vital role in educating our federal, state, and local policy makers about community health centers. As healthcare leaders, we amplify the voices of our patients and communities to advocate for policies that support our vision of health equity for all. We are proud to have a long history of bipartisan support from elected officials.

Grassroots advocacy is foundational to the community health center movement. We are working tirelessly to ensure under-resourced communities have access to high quality, affordable healthcare services and support. It is estimated that with additional resources, Iowa’s community health centers could provide care to 300,000 people annually – that’s 1 in 10 Iowans!

VoterVoice is our online advocacy tool, which allows our robust, grassroots network of staff, board members, patients, partners, and community members to easily connect with elected officials and leverage our collective voice. You can be part of this network!
