Financial Leadership Symposium for Nonprofit and Behavioral Health Organizations

The Iowa PCA, in partnership with the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (Iowa HHS), is hosting Financial Symposiums for nonprofit and behavioral health leaders. These events will focus on practical strategies to strengthen financial stability, address operational challenges, and support the long-term sustainability of mission-driven organizations.

  • Monday June 29, 2026, in Ames

    10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Hilton Garden Inn (1325 Dickenson Ave.)

  • Tuesday June 30, 2026, in Cedar Rapids

    10 a.m.-3 p.m. Hilton Garden Inn (4640 N. River Blvd.)

  • This event is designed to provide leaders with actionable knowledge and tools that can be applied right away within your organization, including: 

    • Equip nonprofit leaders with practical strategies to strengthen financial resilience while sustaining mission delivery. 

    • Increase leaders’ confidence in nonprofit governance by translating fiduciary and compliance requirements into clear roles, decisions, and documentation standards. 

    • Define actionable strategies to strengthen operational controls, proactively manage financial risk, and build sustainable, compliant systems that support long-term organizational stability. 

  • This event is designed for executive, clinical, operational, and financial leaders from behavioral health providers, community health centers, and other nonprofit organizations.

  • Attendees only need to participate in one session, as both will cover the same content. Lunch will be provided.
