SolutionPoint+ Crisis Intervention Training
Free trainings for law enforcement and first responders. The Iowa PCA is hosting free trainings for members of law enforcement and first responders. The Crisis Intervention Training course is a five-day, 40-hour in-person training conducted by SolutionPoint+, a veteran-owned organization whose trainers have years of on-the-ground law enforcement experience.
Participants will engage in realistic scenarios that provide hands-on experience in managing crises effectively. The course places a strong emphasis on treatment-oriented approaches, guiding first responders to prioritize care and rehabilitation over incarceration. Participants will be equipped with the skills and insights needed to handle complex situations with a focus on compassionate, effective solutions that promote long-term recovery and community safety.
The course is available on three different dates and locations:
May 18-22 in Burlington
June 15-19 in Council Bluffs
June 22-26 in Waukee
