Jail-Based Behavioral Health Services RFP
The Iowa Primary Care Association (Iowa PCA), in its role as Iowa's Behavioral Health Administrative Services Organization (BH-ASO), is seeking qualified organizations to provide behavioral health services within county jails across Iowa through Iowa's Behavioral Health Screening, Treatment, Assessment, and Resources (BH-STAR) Program.
BH-STAR is a statewide initiative designed to improve access to timely, responsive behavioral health care for individuals detained in Iowa county jails. Services may include behavioral health screening, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, care coordination, and connections to community-based resources and supports.
